No activation

Basic tariff packages are automatically activated as soon as you start using the services.

Affordable services

For most countries, it is UAH 55 for 150MB of internet, UAH 30 for 10 min of talks, and UAH 20 for 15 SMS (countries of group 1,2).

Enough internet

150MB is enough for reading posts on social networks, chatting is messengers, using maps and banking.

How to use?

Service packages at basic tariffs are provided automatically according to your actions:

in the first second of the first call per day - a package of minutes
from the moment of the first use of mobile internet traffic per day – an internet package
from the moment of sending the first SMS message per day - SMS package.

Just make sure that there is enough money on the account to get the appropriate service package. Each service package is charged automatically on the day of use.

Period of service package validity

The provided package is valid until the end of the day by Kyiv time (until 23:59:59). On depletion of minutes, megabytes, or/and SMS, if you continue using these services, the next corresponding service package is automatically provided.

How much should I top up?

To stay connected abroad, before the trip we recommend you to review the basic tariffs in the country you are going to and top up your account to pay for the package for minutes and megabytes. The recommended minimum amount is UAH 100.

Minutes

The minutes provided in the service package are used for the calls to Ukraine, within the visited country, as well as for incoming calls from any operators in the world (including Ukraine).

Internet

As a rule, 150MB, which is provided in the service package for countries of group 1 and 2, is enough to read posts on social networks, messaging (if you do not upload files, photos, or videos), use applications (banking, navigation, etc.)

SMS

SMS messages that are provided in the service package are used when sending SMS messages to all mobile networks in the world. Incoming SMS messages are not charged additionally in all countries.

How many service packages can I order per day?

The number of packages per day is unlimited.

Can I use bonuses to get the roaming services?

No. Payment for roaming services is made only from the main account.

Can I use the same package in several countries?

Yes, if these countries belong to the same group. For example, if you are going to Germany (group 1), you can use the same service package until the end of the day in all countries of the group 1, being on their territory.

*The minutes provided in the service package are used for the calls to Ukraine, within the visited country, as well as for incoming calls from any operators in the world. The price of outgoing calls to other countries (except Ukraine and the visited country) is 100.00 UAH/min.

**Tariffs if there are not enough funds on the account to apply the basic tariffs. Once your account has been topped up, the basic tariff package is paid first.

There are no subscription fees, connection fees, or other additional charges. Tariffs includes all taxes and charges as of 16.12.2020.

How to contact call-center and which other useful numbers exist in roaming?

To contact call-center in roaming the following number in international format should be used: +380-63-5433-111 (call is free of charge from roaming).

In some countries (that is indicated in the note on tariffs for the relevant country) outgoing call can only be made in the following way: *131*{country code} {code of city or mobile network} {telephone number}#CallButton. In this case to contact call-center the following format should be used: *131*380635433111# CallButton (the call from roaming is charged).

What does network selection mean?

As a default, automatic network selection is used in mobile devices. In this mode in roaming mobile device can perform registration in any mobile network, whose signal strength is most powerful. Also, in this mode mobile phone may change registration and move from one network to another without any actions from user.

After selecting a network manually, the phone will only use a selected network. If at any time the network is unavailable, the screen will read "No service”, and you won’t be able to make calls, send SMS or use an Internet access in this carrier’s network. This may mean that you are in a place where there is no carrier’s signal or the signal is weak. In this case, we recommend restarting your phone (turn it off and back on again) and repeat the operator search manually. If the signal is unavailable in this place, repeat the network selection, having moved to the areas where the carrier’s signal is stable.

"lifecell" is not responsible for the operation of foreign carriers in the networks where you get registered in a foreign country.

How to check and disable barrings, which are set for my number?

To check for barrings on making/receiving calls, sending/receiving SMS or Internet use in your phone menu follow phone’s instructions or user one of the following codes:

How is call diversion charged in roaming?

Only unconditional call diversion, i.e. diversion of all calls, needs no additional charge roaming. When a call diversion is enabled on condition of "No Answer", "Not Available" or "Busy", such a diverted call will be charged as two calls, i.e. an inbound roaming call and an outbound roaming call.

NB!Diversion on condition of "Busy" means that if you talk to someone on the phone and don’t have an activated call hold service, instead of "busy" beeps, the inbound call will be automatically diverted to the predefined phone number, i.e. a conditional call diversion will take place. Also, when an inbound call is rejected by pressing the end call, the call will be automatically diverted to the answering machine, i.e. a conditional call diversion will take place. Such a call will be charged as an inbound roaming call and an outbound roaming call.

How to check and refill the account balance in roaming?

To check remaining (minutes, megabytes) and order the additional services in roaming, dial *108#. The request is free.

To verify the account balance, dial *111# and press the call button (free of charge).

Can I use bonuses in roaming?

No. Services in roaming are billed from the main account only; the bonus funds, minutes, messages and MB are not valid while in roaming.

In which format should I dial the phone number?

While abroad, except China and some other countries¹

For example, to make a call to lifecell call-center you should dial:

+380635433111 (free of charge from roaming), where

«+» - is an international prefix (rules of dialing "+" can be found in your telephone manual),

380 – country code of Ukraine,

63 – code of lifecell mobile network (63, 73 or 93),

5433111 – telephone number.

Can I send an MMS while I am in roaming?

No. Starting from July 8, 2020, the provision of MMS service in roaming was suspended. We recommend using BiP messenger to send multimedia messages.

Before traveling abroad, please check in the settings that the access point name (APN) is specified: internet.

For that go to:

Be careful! If you do not plan to use the Internet, we recommend you to turn off the data transfer on your phone, since automatic updates of installed applications or synchronization with e-mail, etc. can be activated in the phone or smartphone. Such updates will be charged as mobile internet usage in roaming.
