Company Analytics and Data Intelligence Lead
Functional Responsibilities • Manage Business Intelligence team on execution of reporting, ad-hoc analysis, and data projects • Identify areas of improvement to make existing reporting process more efficient • IT projects support: Data Warehouse (DWH), Support up-to-date information in marketing database (DWHDM) • New data sources and their implementations for sales increase or cross-sell • Development of new Universes and metrics in existing DWH/DWHDM to cover new business streams through deep understanding of business needs • Ensure timely reporting, analysis of Business KPIs (revenue, activity, ARPU etc.) • Ensure analysis of Business results for timely management information regarding gaps and risks. Ensure needed data quality of reporting for management and teams • Supporting in Ad-hocs and requests of management, preparation of non-standard reports and presentations • Establishing communication with departments that provide original information for receiving report data for analysis • Prepares and distributes monthly and quarterly operational reports to management to evaluate performance. Works with various corporate departments to obtain and monitor accuracy of data. Makes recommendations so that data may be presented in a more useful manner • Be a Product Owner for Agile development team • Ensuring that the backlog for an agile development team is always full and prioritized. • Analyze new features, identify adhesions and impacts, have them estimate with the team, break it down and plan according to the ability to forecast update it regularly • Collaboration with other agile development teams and stakeholders to drive and execute business priorities • Gather ideas, crystallize them into great user stories and prioritize according to business needs • Explain product changes and improvements to stakeholders and act as an advocate for the product • Engage with business users to understand needs, using domain knowledge to provide recommendations • Support multiple projects simultaneously across cross-functional teams
Education Level University (Bachelor, Master) Area Economics, Mathematics, Finance Working experience: 5+ years in Telecom; • 3+ years of Business Analyst experience, Data Analysis and/or Developer experience; • 2+ years of experience working in Scrum or other agile process; • 5+ years’ experience with Oracle, development programs using SQL/PL SQL, testing process; • 5+ years project management experience; • 3+ years team management experience (development, testing teams); • Confident with end to end data workflows: analysis, reporting, and presenting results in a compelling way; • Experience working on technical projects, as a Product Owner, or software design, software testing, software support. Other requirements Language skills • Upper Intermediate English; • Literate written Ukrainian and Russian PC Skills • Advanced MS Office user (MS Word, Excel, Access, Power Point) SQL, ORACLE, Python; • Oracle Exadata, Hadoop; • Strong knowledge of reporting and Business Intelligence concepts; • Practical experience with JIRA, Confluence
Specific knowledge / experience areas • SAP is a plus • Knowledge or experience in BI and/or Big Data world • Excellent experience in SDLC Methodologies, Agile, SCRUM, SDLC / Waterfall • Data-driven and analytical mindset in decision-making. • Can keep accuracy and attention to detail in fast and agile environment. • Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to deliver quality work while managing multiple projects.
